Trails north of Cody; you just can’t be a novice. From
Wyoming 120 north, turn southwest on Road 7WC
toward Newton Lakes; watch for parking marked
“Outlaw Access.”

Secluded valley southwest of Cody with the Shoshone River running through it. No phones, no lights, occasionally motorcars. A definite alpine feel with a variety of grades to climb. Many times the approach is the crux of the route. Bands of harder horizontal stone provide benches for ice to form on.

Shoot the guns that won the west! From flintlock to full-auto. Instructor led experience covering history, safety and live fire. Over 50 firearms. Indoor range, kids arcade and wildlife exhibit. Indoor axe throwing.
