Elephant Head Lodge

Accommodations

Elephant Head Lodge is a AAA Double Diamond approved, small log-cabin mountain resort located just 11.7 miles east of Yellowstone National Park in the Shoshone National Forest. The lodge and most of the cabins are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The lodge, restaurant, and the “Trapper” cabin were all built in the 1920's by Buffalo Bill Cody’s niece, Josephine Thurston and her husband Harry W. Thurston.

Pahaska Hunting Lodge

History & Culture

Buffalo Bill's original 1904 hunting lodge. A beautiful, two-story log lodge on the National Historic Register. Tours June-Aug daily, 8:30AM-4PM, 48 miles west of Cody at the East Entrance to Yellowstone National Park.

Cowboy Bar & Outlaw Grill

Drinkeries

The Cowboy Bar in Meeteetse, Wyoming is a historic establishment with a rich outlaw heritage, dating back to 1893. Located in a small ranching community of about 300 people it features an ornate Brunswick-Balke-Collendar Bar.

Cody Firearms Experience

Arts & Entertainment

Shoot the guns that won the west! From flintlock to full-auto. Instructor led experience covering history, safety and live fire. Over 50 firearms. Indoor range, kids arcade and wildlife exhibit. Indoor axe throwing.
