Ben & Lindsey
Ben and Lindsey Anson’s passion for agriculture and love of Wyoming’s wild and rugged landscapes landed them at the Pitchfork Ranch outside Meeteetse, Wyoming, six years ago. The Pitchfork is situated 16 miles Northwest of Meeteetse and is regarded as one of Wyoming’s most picturesque ranches. Since ground broke on the first cabin in 1878, the ranch has been at the forefront of conservation as well as stewardship, and the legacy of the Pitchfork Brand has been carried on for over 150 years.
For the Ansons, Park County is the only place that truly feels like home. Summers are spent trailing cattle through the hearty grasses of the Absaroka Mountains, and winters are best-enjoyed ice fishing, skiing, or with a hot cup of coffee by the fireplace. The views in Big Horn Basin are amazing, but the community is what makes it home.
“Between the excitement of watching a branding with friends at the Pitchfork Horse Sale to shaking hands with our beef customers that come out to the ranch, the people you find here are just about as quality as they come.”
