Elyse & Landon

Landon Blanchard and Elyse Guarino are two conservation and community-minded individuals with a combined 24 years of river guiding and outdoor education experience. Together, they own Wyoming River Trips, a company that has been in the Blanchard family for over 40 years since it was founded by brothers Rick and Ron Blanchard in 1978. Having purchased Wyoming River Trips in the winter of 2021, Landon and Elyse are passionate about connecting communities to Wyoming’s river and water resources in new and cooperative ways — building upon their combined outdoor skills and passion for water, wildlife, and land conservation.

Landed has spent his entire life on the water. Growing up in Cody and around the family business, he worked for and was the Operations Manager of Wyoming River Trips for 11 seasons. Elyse came from New Jersey by way of Arizona and Utah and has called Wyoming home for the last 13 years. Previously, she worked as a professional outdoor guide and educator with National Outdoor Leadership School, facilitating outdoor leadership courses for novices and professionals alike. Together, Elyse and Landon’s professional outdoor leadership and guiding experience make Wyoming River Trips a premier outfitter for fully customizable, multi-day packrafting and rafting trips near Cody Yellowstone and throughout Wyoming.
