Cody Firearms Museum Vault Tours
Step beyond the galleries and into the hidden heart of the Cody Firearms Museum. This exclusive Vault Tour offers rare access to areas normally off-limits to the public, where thousands of historic firearms and related artifacts await discovery.
Led by the Exclusive Tours team, each small-group experience reveals stories, objects, and spaces not included in traditional visits. Guests move past locked doors, through underground passages, and into carefully preserved collections overseen by curatorial staff. Every tour unfolds differently, with no scripted pathensuring that no two Vault Tours feel the same.
Because of collection security and preservation requirements, only a limited number of guests can enter the vault each day, making tickets highly sought after.

Book Signing with Paul Hutton & Peter Cozzens
Join us at the Buffalo Bill Center of the West on Wednesday, September 17, for a special afternoon with two acclaimed historians: Paul Andrew Hutton and Peter Cozzens.
2PM Book Signing: Meet Hutton and Cozzens at the Points West Market inside the Center and have your copies of their latest works personally signed.
Paul Andrew Hutton will be signing The Undiscovered Country: Triumph, Tragedy, and the Shaping of the American West, a sweeping exploration of westward expansion through the lives of seven iconic figures, including Daniel Boone, Davy Crockett, Sitting Bull, and William Buffalo Bill Cody. Hutton peels back the layers of American myth to reveal the complex and often painful truths of the frontier.
Peter Cozzens will be signing Deadwood: Gold, Guns, and Greed in the American West, a detailed and engaging history of Deadwood during the Black Hills gold rush. Cozzens highlights the towns legendary figures, its lawlessness, and the unexpected opportunities it offered to diverse communities.
3PM Author Talk: Stay for a live discussion with Hutton and Cozzens as they share insights, stories, and historical perspectives from their books, followed by a Q&A session with the audience.

18th Annual Cody Art Show @ The Irma
Stop by the Irma Hotel during Cody, Wyomings Art Week for even more artwork. This is the 18th year of the show at the Irma. See works by artists Linda Jolley, Brent Flory, Amber Scally, Stacy Muncy, Amanda Cowen, Karen Petrovich, Mary Michael, Maggie Basset and Christy Daniels.

44th Annual Buffalo Bill Art Show & Quick Draw Sales
The Buffalo Bill Art Show & Sale is a fine art sale with a Western theme, offering works relating to the land, people and wildlife of the American West. Artists offer a broad range of stylistic interpretations of the West, in oil painting, watercolor, pastel, sculpture, ceramic and mixed media. All works are original art. The Buffalo Bill Art Show & Sale benefits the prestigious Buffalo Bill Center of the West. The art exhibition, housed in the Buffalo Bill Center of the Wests John Bunker Sands Photography Gallery, is free for public viewing each September. Main events include the Friday evening Auction, where guests view the exhibition a final time, then stroll to the beautiful party tent adjacent to the museum for food, drinks, live music and a spirited auction; and the Saturday morning Quick Draw, where guests enjoy breakfast then observe nearly thirty painters and sculptors at work in the Robbie Powwow Garden, often using live models, to complete a piece in one hour.
