Film Description: For over 35 years, biologists have built one of America’s most enduring wildlife research programs. Guardians of Yellowstone takes viewers into the hidden world of cougars—stealthy predators vital to the park’s ecosystem. Told through three phases of groundbreaking research, the film highlights the science, fieldwork, and passion driving the Yellowstone Cougar Project. Audiences will meet individual cougars, each with a unique story of survival and resilience, set against Yellowstone’s majestic landscapes. With stunning visuals and intimate storytelling, the film honors both the animals and the biologists who protect them.
