Sara Wood – Founder of Wyoming Heritage Grains

Sara Wood is a Powell native living on the family farm outside of Ralston with her family. Her family settled in the area in the early 1900’s.
She founded Wyoming Heritage Grains in 2019, Wyoming’s only commercial flour mill.
Wyoming Heritage Grains focuses on ancient and heritage varieties of wheat and other grains. All flour is stone milled fresh to order.
They use regenerative practices to raise the grains. No-till, companion planting, and cover crops and cattle are some of the main tools used for soil health.
Many customers who are gluten sensitive are once again able to enjoy eating wheat.
