Returning for its 11th summer; award-winning, original "Wild West Spectacular the Musical" LIVE on stage! This historically based, comedic full-length production is offered on select days for 8 weeks during the summer at the historic downtown Cody Theatre, located on Sheridan Avenue in Cody, Wyoming.  

Grab some grilled sandwiches, gourmet wagyu or plain hotdogs, Cascade Glacier dipped ice cream bars, lactose free soft serve ice cream, popcorn, soda, and other treats at Clem's Canteen & Creamery in the lobby before taking a seat. You'll meet Annie Oakley, "Wild Bill" Hickok, Frank Butler, sharpshooters, saloon girls, and other colorful characters from the west as Buffalo Bill Cody’s dream of becoming the WORLD'S greatest showman to ever live, comes to life. Our dancers, musicians, and actors are certain to entertain you with the fascinating true story of William F. Cody, our towns namesake; and well-known songs that will have you singing along. For an added unique experience, during intermission the audience can interact with cast members in character and belly up to the stage bar to buy a sarsaparilla. 

It's a full night of live entertainment that all ages and groups will enjoy!.

Join the Meeteetse Museums on June 20th at 3:00 PM for Photographing Things with Wings, a discussion of some basic tips for capturing images of birds and insects. This discussion/how-to guide will be led by Kathy Lichtendahl. Beginner photographers welcome, including those who mostly use their smartphones for photos!

Kathy is a professional nature photographer based in Cody, Wyoming, where she has owned and run Light in the Valley, LLC since 2014. A graduate of the Photographic Communications program at Northwest College, Kathy went on to teach at the college between 2015 and 2018. Her images can be found accompanying stories promoting conservation in a wide variety of local, regional and national publications. Kathy also spends a number of weeks each year leading workshops in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem and beyond for several well known photo expedition companies. On Monday, June 29th, 2026, the town of Meeteetse will celebrate America’s 250th birthday with fun activities for the whole family. The Museums will be open special hours for this town celebration. Stop by the Museums to learn about town history, add a wish to our Wish Wall, and explore a temporary exhibit celebrating America’s 250th anniversary! The Museums will be open from 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM.

Cody's PRCA Xtreme Bulls Tour showcases the PRCA's top bull riders and the rankest bulls the world has to offer! In conjunction with the bull riding is Bullfighters Only. Watch the countries best freestyle bull fighters come face-to-face with the industries rankest fighting bulls.
