Experience a bygone era. The Homesteader Museum celebrates history through thousands of artifacts, historic buildings and photographs depicting the domestic, entrepreneurial and rugged homesteading life of the early Big Horn Basin pioneer. Climb aboard a CB&Q Caboose, walk back in time into an original homestead, peer inside a sheep herders wagon and an outhouse. In addition, the museum houses hundreds of homesteading histories and land certificates for research and curiosity.
Join the fun at Homesteader Days, a yearly event in early September celebrating the days of homesteading and farming with a vintage truck and tractor show, antique machinery demonstrations, activities, food and music. Fun for all ages!
