Beartooth Rides and Guides, based in Cody, Wyoming, offers high-quality winter experiences in the Beartooth Mountains and Cooke City, Montana. We provide scenic trail rides into the Beartooth Range, guided backcountry snowmobile adventures, riding clinics, and avalanche education of all levels for everyone—from first-time riders and families to seasoned backcountry experts.

Our season runs December through April, following the best snow in the high country. Whether you want a relaxed, scenic tour, a confidence-building introduction to backcountry riding, or a challenging technical day with experienced guides, we’re here to help you enjoy the mountains safely and make the most of winter in the Beartooths.

Features include an all inclusive playground, picnic shelter, BBQ grills and an 8,000 square foot skate park with a multi-use area and a nine foot bowl for more advanced skateboarders. New in 2020 is a multi-feature splashpad.

The Elkhorn Bar & Grill is a hidden Gem! Much of the menu is based on old fashioned home cooking, with a twist, but you'll also find seafood on the menu.

Steph's Kitchen offers a cozy family setting with flavorful dishes like nachos to burgers, and seafood to pasta dishes. We offer an array of appetizers and specialty cocktails. Plus, we have 10 local and regional craft beers on tap. Indulge in simple ingredients with bold flavors.

CoveredGround Tours offers the best road-based van tours out of Cody, Wyoming. Take in breathtaking Yellowstone National Park through the Buffalo Bill Scenic Byway with Cody’s most knowledgeable guides. Our exciting tours will emphasize natural history, wildlife viewing, hydrothermal education and opportunities for incredible photos. See waterfalls, geysers, hot springs, paint pots, rugged mountains, grizzly bears, bison and more! The active Yellowstone super volcano is one of the largest, nearly intact ecosystems on earth and we would love to teach you about the preservation, science and stories within it.
